COPPER. THE ORIGINS
Through the ages, copper has been admired by interior designers and architects for its versatility, durability and malleability. Copper is a fascinating, natural material which has strong durability, is anti-bacterial and fully recyclable. It has always inspired artisans and artists because of its captivating multi-coloured surface.
MARBLE. PERSONALITY
‘Marmaros’ is Greek for resplendent or shining stone. Its special ‘glow’ is caused by light penetrating its surface before being reflected. This is particularly distinct in white marble. We, at Valcucine use contrasting stones, resulting from a combination of art, handicraft excellence and know-how, to create 3D patterns that give each kitchen a unique personality.

Glass is one of the most environmentally conscious materials made by man. Valcucine innovates centuries-old glassmaking techniques to perfectly grind and cut the substance with glazier’s diamonds cooled in water. As strong as it is delicate, Valcucine’s sculpted glass for luxury imported kitchens adds to the intrigue of the state-of-the-art design.
WOOD CARVING. THE DISCOVERY
Substance is removed so that shapes and figures can emerge from below. With the same patience required 2000 years ago, using ancient techniques that have been retrieved and adding solutions identified by us. Skilful hands reveal hidden beauty in harmony with wood’s real nature, creating small works of art in a unique interplay of light and shadows. Each touch of the chisel on the three-dimensional surface carves a deep, vibrant impression in our imagination.
BRASS. HARMONY
Brass is an oxidizable alloy made of copper and zinc. It can be used for many purposes because it is ductile and pliable, resilient and anti-bacterial and also has remarkable acoustic properties. We use it respectfully and skilfully to preserve the special harmony it is capable of diffusing and to create magical atmospheres.
TITANIUM. THE ETERNAL ELEMENT
Many of titanium’s properties are extraordinary: it is as strong as steel and twice as tough as aluminium, resists corrosion, is lightweight, ductile, easy to work and biocompatible. The thin oxide film that protects it is very stable in any environment, making it virtually eternal. Its natural charisma is enhanced by our special workmanship; interfering light waves on its surface make it change colour, giving it a seductively unique and iridescent beauty.
