PRESIDENT’S APARTMENT
Located on the Atlantic Seaboard, this seaside apartment capitalises on the exquisite ocean views through its clever choice in finishes. The client chose light and reflective surfaces that mirror the Atlantic vistas throughout the home, with no exception to the kitchen design.
The Forma Mentis Programme was the perfect choice for this home – with the design intention of creating a versatile kitchen that can adapt to the requirements of the client – it allows for an endless possibility of combinations and fluidity in the ergonomic functionality of the overall design. The practicality of this programme creates an effortless and uncomplicated culinary experience.
With Graphic Virtum chosen for the finish on the kitchen walls, becoming an ode to the ocean through the harmonious yet continuous changing lines that mimics the sound of the waves that ebbs and flows, dissolves and disappears. Designer Gabriele Centazzo says that this was in fact his inspiration for the finished design, “I created this design from an old photo I took that captures the moment in which the tide goes out, leaving endless squiggles on the sand”.
